Bone Exploration: A Hands-On Journey

Join Lorre Mueller  (Trinity Equine Services) and Lola Michelin (NWSAM) for an immersive exploration day of equine bones. This workshop is designed for animal bodyworkers who want to deepen their anatomical literacy through touch, discussion, and open-ended discovery.

The instructors for the course will be Lola Michelin and Kim Bauer, trained by Kris De Ceulaer, DVM, Ph.D. Dr. De Ceulaer is a veterinarian in Belgium who specializes in osteopathy, acupuncture and Chinese Food Therapy. Additionally she holds a Ph.D in Veterinary anatomy. The course includes an online course with Kris De Ceulaer, DVM and a one-day hands-on practical to practice the techniques.  

Learn the location and function of the Equine Fascial Lines as well as how to identify indicators of tension along a line.

Sketching the Unseen is a 2‑day, hands‑on workshop designed to give equine professionals practical educator tools they can use in lessons, sessions, and client communication. Through simple, functional sketching and structured observation, you’ll learn how to help clients see what’s happening in their horses with more clarity and confidence. Taught by equine bodyworker and sketch artist Olga Surmacheva, hosted by NWSAM.

Visceral Therapy builds on the general principles of osteopathy to include a special understanding of the organs (viscera), blood vessels and nerves of the body. Visceral Techniques can help relieve imbalances and restrictions in the interconnections between the movements of all the organs and structures of the body.
