The instructors for the course will be Lola Michelin and Kim Bauer, trained by Kris De Ceulaer, DVM, Ph.D. Dr. De Ceulaer is a veterinarian in Belgium who specializes in osteopathy, acupuncture and Chinese Food Therapy. Additionally she holds a Ph.D in Veterinary anatomy. The course includes an online course with Kris De Ceulaer, DVM and a one-day hands-on practical on September 19th, 2o26 to practice the techniques. The Northwest School of Animal Massage (NWSAM) is excited to have graduate and equine nutrition expert Kristina Gordon teaching this foundational training in equine nutrition. In this online course, you will learn equine evolution, the equine digestive system and microbiome along with the nutritional needs of the horse.  Considerations will include life stages, common disorders and behavior.  This course is open to anyone interested in learning more about the diet and management of the equine.  It may be taken by itself or combined with our Equine Nutrition Foundation Level Practical for a certification in Equine Nutrition.
