Let’s take a look at the muscles that we will be applying the MLT techniques to in the hands-on training portion of this course.

It will be helpful to recognize the name and location of each muscle and the action it is responsible for.  You will also want to view the image to see which of the synovial joints it crosses.  The information regarding the attachments (origin and insertion) of each muscle is provided as well.

It is not necessary to memorize the information provided here, but it will be helpful to familiarize yourself with it prior to coming to class.
