CAMPING CONTRACT RENTAL AGREEMENT
Applicant must be at least 21 years of age and will be responsible for the campsite and the occupants.
DEPOSIT -- A reservation deposit is required to make a reservation and may be done with through credit card, Venmo,
Zelle, check or cash. A credit card must be provided at the time of reservations for damages or incidentals that may occur.
3% fee is charged for credit card transactions. Deposit is the equivalent of one night stay or $45.00
Reservations are accepted up to six months to the day in advance of arrival.
Specific sites are reserved on a first-come, first reserved basis. We try to honor all requests for specific sites, but do reserve
the right to change site numbers.
To avoid any misunderstandings, you will be charged for the number of nights of your
reservation, so please check your dates carefully. All site damages or excessive cleaning will be charged to the credit card
provided to us by the lessee. Sites reserved in advanced have a two-night minimum.
CANCELLATION POLICY -- If site is canceled 7 days prior to your arrival date the deposit will be refunded minus a $10.00
per site cancellation fee. If less than 7 days prior to your arrival the deposit is non-refundable. Early departures and no
shows due to weather or any other reason will not receive a refund. If you do not show up for your reservation you will be
charged the entire amount of the reservation. The individual whose name is on the reservation must confirm all reservation
changes.
CHECK-IN -- is from 3:00 pm to 7:00pm. Early or late arrival by prior arrangement only. There will be no check-ins after
9:00 pm. After that time you must wait until the following day when the office opens. For your convenience, you may pay the
balance owed for your site.
CHECK-OUT -- is prior to 12:00 noon.
OCCUPANCY -- The state of Washington and King County Health Department imposes the regulation of site occupancy.
Sites hold a maximum of 4 adults. Maximum occupancy noncompliance will result in eviction. There must be at least one
person 21 and older actually staying on the site.
NO PETS. NO CHILDREN. NO OPEN FLAMES.
VISITORS -- Visitors allowed by prior arrangement only. Please contact the office to schedule visitors in advance.
PETS -- NO PETS ALLOWED except by prior arrangement due to farm animals that are present.
QUIET TIME -- is from 11:00 pm to 6:00 am. There will be no check-ins during this time. Sounds carry farther at night.
Please be considerate of others. Loud noise/music, etc. will be discouraged. Loud or abusive language will not be
tolerated. Eviction will result without any refunds.
SMOKING -- NO SMOKING ON THE PREMISES, NO EXCEPTIONS.
VEHICLES -- 1 vehicle allowed per camper. Parking is at the NWSAM parking lot only, please do not park near the barns or
private residence or on the road adjacent to the parking lot.
CLEANING -- each site must be kept free of loose materials that could pose a fire threat or create litter. Trash must be
placed in dumpsters before checkout.
CRITTERS and HAZARDS -- Paxhia Farm is home to many animals, domestic and otherwise. Vashon Island has a healthy
population of deer, raccoon, coyote and the occasional cougar or bear. Please keep food contained and do not feed animals,
domestic or otherwise.
FARM ANIMALS: Please feel free to visit our farm animals and enjoy the property with the exception of the private residence
and surrounding area. Do not feed the animals or go into enclosures. Remember that any animal can bite if provacated and
that escapes can result in harm to animals, property and people. Campers accept all responsibility for harm caused by
interaction with our farm animals. Most of our horses are on special diets, please do not feed animals. If you would like more
interaction with any of our farm animals, please speak with us about arranging time with them supervised.
BIKE RENTAL: We have a few bikes available at time for getting back and forth to town. Please let us know if you need to rent
a bike during your stay. There are electric bike rentals available also in town.
RESTROOM/SHOWER ACCESS: The restroom and shower trailer is available for your use 24 hours a day. Please follow all
posted signs and dry the floor outside the shower after use. Students and staff will use the trailer during the days as well. If
you have questions/concerns about use of the systems, please contact a staff member.
