Join NWSAM for a 2-Day in-person Exploration of Equine BioMechanics.

This course is for anyone interested in learning about how to assess the horses movement and the proper approach to stretching.

What you will learn during these two jam-packed days:

Horse getting the hindlimbs stretched
Vince getting a stretch for the hip flexor muscles and low back and limb.

Kinesiology of the major joints of the horse

-Passive Range of Motion Assessment (pROM) 

Active Range of Motion Assessment (aROM)

-Three Barriers to ROM

-Gait Analysis and Biomechanic Evaluation

-Passive Repetitive Stretching

-Proper Static Stretching

-Muscle Activation Techniques

-How to Design a Stretching Program for your clients

(There is no online requirement for this course, all education will be in-person.  This class is open to all horse enthusiasts but a basic knowledge of external anatomy and major superficial muscles is helpful.)
