Model Veterinary Practice Act Comment Deadline: Feb. 14

There is still time for pet owners, animal massage therapists and practitioners of other therapies to review the AVMA Model Veterinary Practice Act and submit their comments!  Of particular interest to our industry are Sections 2-7 & 2-19

Please view the links and add your comments by Feb 14th. While the AVMA guidlines are only recommendations, they are promoting language that restricts practices such as animal massage to veterinarians only. States without legislation in place could be affected. Please add your voice and protect our right to choose how to care for our animals and our right to practice massage professionaly.
