Ever wonder what the difference is between a kimberwicke and a tom thumb? Do you know how to properly size a bit to your horses mouth? How do you choose the right bit for the job? Novice riders and advance riders alike will learn more about the mechanics of bits and bridles in this class. Lola Michelin of the Northwest School of Animal Massage will explain the anatomy of the horse’s mouth and head while WSHJA President and local trainer Shelly Kerron will help walk us through the many styles of bits and their proper use and function.
